Hotel Tierra Inka Sacred Valley

One of my favorite moments of the trip was sitting outside in the morning, watching birds among the flowers. The place was clean, comfortable, and incredibly peaceful. The staff were kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful, and it was clear they care about their work and the hotel. Hotel Inka Tierra was a wonderful stay. I’d absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone wanting somewhere relaxing and welcoming.

The room was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed, and the location was great. We could walk to the train station in 10 minutes. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. We had a great stay, and I’d definitely come back and recommend the place.

The quiet edge of the center worked really well for us. Shops, restaurants, and the archaeological site were all about a five-minute walk away. We had a spacious, modern superior room upstairs with lovely mountain views; I think most standard rooms are downstairs and look onto the garden. The grounds are beautifully cared for, breakfast was good, and the owners were so friendly. We had trouble finding appealing places when searching in Ollantaytambo, so I’m glad we chose this family-run hotel. We really enjoyed staying here and would happily recommend it.

My early departure was made much easier because they arranged breakfast for me before I checked out at 5 a.m. Breakfast normally starts at 7, so I really appreciated that. I stayed one night before continuing to Machu Picchu. The room was clean and quiet, though I could occasionally hear distant trains. Filtered water was available, and it’s about a ten-minute walk to the train station or five minutes to the main square and its restaurants.
