After a combined 20 hours on planes and in cars, all we wanted was a proper night's sleep in the room we'd booked. We had paid for a sea-view room with a balcony, but they gave it to someone else and put us in a tiny room with no air conditioning, no view, and just a full bed. We were really unhappy and felt ripped off. If you're coming to Paracas, avoid this place and pick somewhere else.

The customer service was very rude, the pool was dirty, and breakfast didn't follow the hours stated on the hotel's rules card. I wouldn't use this place to redeem Diners Club miles.

The place's advertising makes it sound amazing, with top-class facilities, but what I saw didn't come close. I'd call it two stars at best, and it badly needs renovation. The free breakfast was very poor, and the staff are made to work seven days straight. There are other places in Paracas. Don't stay here.

Breakfast on the roof was nice, and the harbor view from up there was great. The hotel itself is basic, the rooms are very small, and there's no air conditioning or elevator, so stairs could be a problem.

The only real downside was the very loud music around the malecon. I took off a star for the location, though that may not be entirely fair. The staff were helpful, the rooms were clean, and there's a pool and a rooftop breakfast area. I enjoyed my one-night stay.
