We paid S/40 a night for a double room with a private bathroom, and they gave us a discount for staying a week. The place was nice, and the beach view was lovely. The wifi was a bit slow, though.

We arrived by bus without a booking and wandered into Hotel Ballestas, where Marilu, the owners’ daughter, welcomed us. She offered a very good price for a simple, clean room and arranged our Ballestas islands tour easily, with no extra fees. Later, she booked our bus out of Paracas for less than the tour operators on the strip charged. Marilu was helpful and great. The room was clean and practical, had good hot water, a working TV, and a nice ocean-facing window. We couldn’t have asked for more.

After five nights in the mountains, this was a lovely little place to rest and warm up. It’s run by a charming older couple, and they gave us a discount for staying five nights.

For one night, it’s fine. Nothing special, but the quality is about what you’d expect for the budget-friendly price in Paracas. The location is good, not far from the beach.
