Hotel Casavian

My stay was awful. There was no Wi-Fi, and the service was nonexistent. The room was uncovered and the sheets were loose. The dirty bathroom hadn’t been cleaned, the shower had no hot water, its showerhead barely worked, and the water was dirty. The TV screen was broken. I asked them to replace it, but they refused because the time limit had passed. When I requested more soap, they gave me some expired bars that looked like they’d been sitting there for ages. I complained, but the girl was awful to deal with. I also showed her a dirty, empty bottle upstairs. I’m really dissatisfied and don’t recommend this place.

The location is the strong point: it’s near the plaza and restaurants, and there’s an elevator. But my single room was tiny and had no ventilation. Two fans just moved the same hot air around, and one was extremely noisy. They close the doors around 11 pm, and there’s no evening service, so you can’t buy snacks or drinks then. The room service phones are just for show, and they don’t accept credit cards.

I was disgusted and left very disappointed. As soon as I entered, the room smelled strongly of urine. Under the covers, the sheets were dirty, smelly, and covered with hair. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned either: the sink was dirty, soaps from previous guests were left there, and the toilet was filthy. The receptionist treated me poorly when I complained. Then a young cleaner came in with a bad attitude, no mask, and a bucket of dirty water and a dirty mop to clean and supposedly disinfect the room. When I decided to leave, the receptionist got angry and started behaving rudely.

It’s near the central plaza, but there’s plenty that could be improved. The building isn’t very old, yet the rooms aren’t comfortable. The fans are loud, and my room was dusty.
