Hospedaje Chaska Pisac

The courtyard gardens in the middle are beautifully maintained and so relaxing, and there’s a lovable cat with amazing fur patterns, like many cats around there. From here, you get a lovely view of the mountain face across the river, and you’re right in the heart of Pisac, where travelers and sightseers want to be. The service was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The manager even helped me unlock my room after I locked myself out twice in one day. I’m still sorry about that! I slept well, felt safe, and left a little piece of my heart at this hostel and in Pisac. ❤️

Breakfast was nice, with fresh bread, fruit, eggs, and pancakes. The rooms are spacious, with high ceilings and a big bathroom, and the shower had hot water and good pressure. Some darker curtains would help. The family pet llama and rabbits are a welcoming sight, and the staff are really friendly. The garden setting is beautiful. It’s close to the road, so you do hear some cars and dogs. I think that may be true of most places to stay there. Still, it’s a really lovely hostel.

We hated having to move on. The staff, breakfasts, rooms, and courtyard were all great, and the square and good places to eat were easy to reach. If only we’d known! The one downside was horns blaring at 5:30 a.m. both nights. That’s a local Peruvian habit, nothing to do with the hotel, though maybe the town mayor should take notice. Properly marvellous, and extremely good value in January. ☺️

The courtyard garden was lovely, and breakfast was great. It’s on a busy street, and the llama there was fun to see. They had a gated space for our vehicles.
