We were a little uneasy after booking because the reviews were so sparse, but our stay turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The room was clean, comfortable, and practical, the service kind and generous, and breakfast was great. If something’s wrong, just bring it up instead of hiding behind a review.

The bathroom tub had rust, the closet was broken, and there were no shower blankets. On the last day, there wasn’t running water anywhere. Customer service was very poor.

I couldn’t get proper rest in Piura’s heat. The air conditioning didn’t cool, and the ceiling fan was even less help. The shower was clogged too, with water spraying only onto the wall. Breakfast timing was confusing: the sign said 7 to 8 am, but downstairs they said 7:30. I’m here for work and need to be at work by 8, so that doesn’t work. The doorbell rings whenever guests arrive, which makes it impossible to sleep. I also paid extra for early check-in because of morning appointments, but when I got there at 7 am I waited outside ringing for 15 minutes while the young man had gone to buy bread. For what they charge, there are better choices in town.
