The hotel is clean and the breakfast is good, but it feels old and there’s nothing special about it. Avoid lunch: I had a hamburger and fries, and the fries were badly undercooked. The meat had so little taste that I wouldn’t have known what I was eating if I hadn’t seen it.

The breakfast was the best I’ve had so far in nearly three weeks and at least five or six hotels in Peru. The rooms and toilets are pretty old, though, and you can find much better places for the same price.

For 25 extra bucks a night, go to "los portales". The experience will be astronomically better. This place is 50 dollars for a decent room.

The room was spacious, clean, and had a good shower. The staff were great, friendly, and helpful.

Everything was clean. It’s a good hotel for spending the night.
