Don’t mix this place up with Los Delfines. THIS IS NOT THE ONE!!! It was nice here about five years ago, but they’ve really let it go. Every room I saw had some kind of damage. Doors wouldn’t open or close, the bathrooms smelled, and there was no water pressure. Such a shame.

The owner is really nice and easy to talk to, and will help with anything you need to make sure you’re happy. The place is simple and a very good price, with a great spot beside the new boulevard at Yarinacocha lake, where the sunsets are stunning. There’s a shared kitchen, a big garden, and every room has its own bathroom. Highly recommended!

In Yarinacocha, this is where I stay. It’s clean and affordable, with a fan in the amazing jungle accommodation. The gardens are large, the common areas are comfortable, and there’s a self-catering kitchen with a refrigerator. The local market is only a few blocks away, and the bus line passes nearby for quick trips into central Pucallpa for banking and such. It’s not the Ritz.

I felt so welcome here and felt right at home. Frank is the best, helping with all kinds of things, from motorcycle taxis and laundry to other luxuries. The guesthouse is close to the market and shops, and just steps from the port where small boats dock. It’s lovely being near the water. There are places to relax in the garden, with magnificent plants like Bobisana and fruit trees like mango. Everything in the kitchen is easy to access, including drinking water. I’ll always come back.

Galy is especially kind, and Orlando is warm and helpful to everyone, making sure guests are comfortable. They keep an eye on the door, which made it feel very safe and suitable for women traveling. The rooms are spacious and simple, each with a private bathroom, desk, and fan. There’s a shared kitchen with a refrigerator, gas stove, utensils, and everything you might need, plus a common living room and large gardens. Sheets, towels, toilet paper, and soap are complimentary, and cleaning service is provided. Laundry costs extra. It’s very close to Yarina market, restaurants, shops, and the Yarina town square. The fare is at most 8 soles from Pucallpa town square and 5 soles from the airport. Highly recommended!
