Manish Hotel Ecológico

Manish made things much easier for us after a retreat, when we had a lot of food restrictions. They know how to accommodate diets like that, which is hard to find elsewhere in the city, and the staff were sweet and helpful. I enjoyed my stay for all those reasons. A few things could make the visit better. Sheer blinds as well as blackout blinds would help: with the blinds open, everyone can see into the room, but closed all day, it gets very dark and feels cut off from outside, almost like nighttime. An ATM in the hotel would save us foreigners from always having to go into town for money. I’d also like more non-alcoholic drinks, such as coconut water, homemade iced teas, and drinks without sugar. We want to drink throughout the day, but apart from one or two basic smoothies, there are only alcoholic drinks or pops. Thank you!

Capirona serves fresh vegan food, and the vegetarian causa was my favorite. The gym amenities aren’t the greatest, but the pool is good for cooling off. There are beautiful garden areas all around the grounds, and you can tell the staff put a lot of love into maintaining the place. It’s affordable, just five minutes from the airport, and I’ll stay here every time.

The pillows were uncomfortable, the wifi was bad, the food wasn’t so great, and it was somewhat noisy. The massage left me feeling worse afterward. I wouldn’t call this a four-star place.

Every stay here has been a wonderful experience, and I’ve stayed many times. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms are great, and the restaurant is fantastic.
