EcoAmazonia Lodge

The trip to monkey island and cocha perdida was our highlight. Airport pickup and the boat ride to the lodge were very easy and smooth, and the excursions were all good. Victor was our guide and did a great job explaining the plants and animals as we walked through the forest. The staff and guides were all really nice, and the service was good. The food was good too, with some buffet meals and others served from a set menu. A nice lodge in the Peruvian rainforest.

Some of the activities felt a bit repetitive, but the guides knew a lot about the jungle. Ivan was especially helpful, and we learned a lot about the nearby island and the monkeys' origins. WiFi worked for us the whole time, but only around reception. The staff were very helpful while taking on several jobs, including guiding, cleaning, and cooking. Meals alternated between buffet and set menu. The choices repeated, but everything tasted good, so it didn't bother me. A great experience at a very nice Amazon lodge.

We had an amazing time during our three nights here. Huge thanks to all the hardworking, friendly staff. We enjoyed every minute.

The location is nice and the staff are really friendly. Ivan is the best guide! I wouldn't suggest staying here in their winter, in August. The open-air rooms get very cold at night. The bar also charged us for two extra bottles of water and insisted we pay, even though we hadn't ordered them.
