The food was tasty at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and Luis in the kitchen and dining room was lovely. He was always smiling and made sure people knew what the food and drinks were. I spent five fantastic days and four nights at the lodge. If you book a tour, you won't be disappointed. My main guides, Jaime and Vigner, were excellent, and Elvis was great on the way to the lodge too. They were knowledgeable, kind, and enthusiastic about all the plants and wildlife we saw, from monkeys and caiman to spiders, capybara, macaws, and vultures. It made the trip unforgettable. Cabin 102-B was huge and incredibly comfortable.

The food was delicious, though basic, and there was plenty of wildlife, along with genuine guides and good people. The cabins are screened all around, with decent beds and private washrooms. It's about a two-hour motorboat ride from the nearest town. This isn't a five-star hotel, but it's a five-star facility for what's available in the rainforest. There's electricity, WiFi from 6am to 10pm, running water, and flush toilets.

We did the 3D/2N experience and booked directly with the lodge. Rio was an amazing guide who showed us all kinds of wildlife, and the stay became the highlight of my Peru trip. We wished we'd booked longer. Our newer suite was honestly the nicest room we'd stayed in so far. I was concerned insects might get inside, but the whole bungalow is screened and it was fine. The food was tasty, and the dining area and bar were nice places to spend time.

The sky was full of stars, it felt magical, and we saw so many animals. Our two nights were amazing: the lodge was clean, the staff and guides were super friendly, the shower was hot, drinking water was provided, and the food was delicious. You could also buy bottled water at the bar. We booked through the website, and Joseth was such a lovely guide. You leave your larger bag at the office near the airport and take only the essentials.

After the Inka trail to Machu Picchu, I spent a couple of nights here, and it was one of the highlights of my trip. The eco-Lodge is a long way from the nearest town, about a two-hour boat ride, but the grounds are tidy and there are trails through the Amazon rainforest. There's also a nice little swimming area to cool off after a long walk. The food options were limited, but the quality was excellent and there was always enough. My room was clean and tidy, though I did have a slight issue with a bat inside it. It's part of the experience, I guess!
