The hotel is well located, and the environment was quiet and clean. The front desk staff were very helpful, giving me plenty of ideas for things to do, offering two tours I totally recommend, updating me about the “La Candelaria” events, and suggesting places to eat. Mojsa restaurant is the best. Breakfast was served every morning, and the person in charge of that area was really nice and gave me tips for dealing with Soroche, the symptoms of high altitude. Great service and location. Gracias a todo su personal.

We lost several hours waiting for the hot water to be fixed, and by the time it was clear nothing would change, it was too late to switch hotels. Staff had assured us it would be sorted soon after we said we might leave, but that didn't happen. There was no hot water in our room, and it was chilly inside during winter. Easily the worst travel stay we've had. I can't recommend it.

After a full day of travel, with an early excursion the next morning, all I wanted was a hot shower. Instead, the water was freezing, and the staff seemed unconcerned about our comfort. We raised the lack of hot water several times, but although they promised to fix it, nothing was done. In a cold city like Puno, that was unacceptable. One of the worst stays of my trip, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

They made it easy to leave our luggage safely after we got back from Lake Titicaca, and didn't charge extra, even though our bus station pickup was still six hours away. When I needed a toothbrush, staff found one and brought it to my room in about 10 minutes. They were gracious and helpful throughout. The location is right in the heart of Puno, and the price felt fair for it and the accommodations. Breakfast was perfect. There was hot water at the facet and warm water in the shower. If you use conditioner, bring your own or pick some up.

I've stayed here a few times now. The rooms are good and warm, and the staff are always outgoing. It's in a really good location too.
