The climb up the hill can be rough at altitude, and the shower wasn't hot. The Wi-Fi was garbage, though that's pretty much Peru. On the plus side, the bed was clean and comfortable, and the buffet breakfast was decent. There's free coca tea, and you're close to the main square without the traffic. One of the better places I've stayed in this price range.

The rooms were super clean and breakfast was good, though it only runs until 8 a.m. The location is fairly close to the main plaza, but up the hill, so it might not be ideal.

The view from the nice room and bathroom was great, and the price was great too. They arranged airport transport for just 15 Soles, even though it's an hour away. The Wi-Fi wasn't very good.

The Uros floating island on lake Titicaca, reached from puno, was an amazing experience. Seeing how the native Indians live was astonishing, with tortora reeds used for everything. Lake Titicaca is also the highest navigable lake in the world. Don't miss it.
