La Capitanna

The views are beautiful, and it’s a great place to get away from it all. I had some interesting conversations with both Laura and José, who are the best hosts in Punta Sal. Breakfast and lunch were excellent too. Laura is a fantastic cook, and José makes delicious bread. The pool is open 24 hours a day, and José provides transportation to and from the beach. I’ll definitely be back :)

I got to relax by the pool and cook alongside Laura and Jose during my stay. They were always ready to help make things pleasant, from recommending local activities to making sure I had everything I needed. La Capitanna de Punta Sal is a beautiful getaway, surrounded by stunning nature. It’s a place to disconnect, enjoy the ocean, and be pampered with exceptional service.

The quiet was lovely, and from the rooms up above you can see the beach. We had plenty of space, everything was clean, and the birdsong made waking up feel peaceful. La Capitana has a spotless pool and a shared lounge with a TV, games, chairs, and hammocks. There's also a kitchenette and fridge if you want to make your own food. Breakfast comes with the stay: eggs, coffee, fruit, and two really good breads. Mr. José was warm and helpful, offering advice and rides to and from the Punta Sal entrance. The service feels personal, and the two sweet dogs are hard not to smile at.

We had homemade food that was delicious every time, and the hosts make you feel close to them. With the lovely views across Punta Sal, the desert, and the sea, it’s a wonderful spot to spend time with family or old friends.
