A very affordable, lovely stay surrounded by nature. The garden was full of plants, and birds were around all the time. Our spacious, bright room had a balcony or terrace facing the lake and the gardens out front. There’s a small, clean swimming pool and a pretty good restaurant, and you can have food brought to your room. The Wi-Fi was weak, but out in the middle of the wilderness, it didn’t bother me. I’d definitely recommend it.

A true paradise for relaxing and recharging. I just wish there were more green space to walk around in. The staff were friendly and the food was outstanding. I’ll definitely be back!

We had a great time by the lake view pool, and the food was both delicious and very affordable. Sra. Luz does a terrific job in the kitchen. The Chaufa Amazónico was the best Amazonian Chaufa I’ve had, rice sautéed with vegetables, jungle sausage and cecina. It wasn’t greasy, and the huge portion could satisfy two people. The Juane de Gallina was a delight, and the spaghetti with red sauce and chicken was spectacular, with a real homemade taste. I usually go for regional dishes when I travel, but this Peruvian version was so fresh and tasty that we ordered it twice. The panqueque con manjar blanco was yummy and a good size. Fiorella, the manager and owner’s daughter, speaks excellent English and does a great job. The rooms are spacious, all with lake views, and there are lots of different plants around the hotel with their names. Most staff don’t speak English, but the Wi-Fi is reliable, so you can use Google Translate and practice your Spanish. It’s a very relaxing place in nature with great service and food. We only wished we didn’t have to order dishes hours ahead, though we understand that the remote location means they need time to get the ingredients. I’d suggest the hotel get its own kayaks and put a ladder on the pier to make swimming in the lake easier.

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, and we had delicious meals with a warm welcome. It works well for kids or a romantic getaway. The views are amazing. Highly recommended!
