Moon Luxury Apartments

We were disappointed by our six-day stay, despite the complex looking luxurious. I booked an apartment for three through Airbnb for me and two friends, and only learned about the contract's rules after we'd booked. The company's direct booking site doesn't even show those rules, just check-in and check-out times, so by the time we were asked to sign, we couldn't back out and find somewhere else. We had to reserve amenities a full day ahead for one-hour slots, including ping pong and billiards equipment, the indoor pool, sauna, and gym. Visitors also had to be reported with their IDs 24 hours ahead, and visiting hours ended at 10pm. On checkout day, we couldn't use the outdoor pool while waiting for our flight, even though using shared hotel facilities on departure day is standard. The contract also listed maintenance fees that seemed way out of proportion, such as $20 USD for stains on the sheets. I understand COVID-19 precautions for tight spaces like saunas, but requiring reservations for spacious areas where people can wear masks felt unnecessary. The rules kept us on edge and put us off using the amenities. I attached photos of the contract as proof. The apartment itself was large and the furniture comfortable, but many kitchen cabinet doors were broken, and there was no soap or shampoo. Paying a lot for a luxury stay shouldn't mean tiptoeing around rules like these. I probably won't come back unless they make serious changes. Precautions during the pandemic should make sense instead of making things needlessly complicated for guests.
