Hotel Torresur Tacna

I slept well, though the other guests were pretty noisy. The TV had good channels, and the staff were very friendly. The rooms and hotel were clean, and the shower had plenty of hot water. They sell things like cookies, soft drinks, beer, soap, toothbrushes, and shampoo. Wi-Fi was very unreliable on the second floor. You also have to be let in at reception, and sometimes it takes quite a while for staff to come down.

The smell was like sewage, so it was impossible to relax or get any rest. My family and I had a terrible, disappointing experience with the hotel. When my mother realized she had left something valuable behind during checkout, she asked for the room key so she could retrieve it. They refused and treated her badly. She went back upstairs without the key, luckily the door was open. The item was missing when she entered, but she eventually found it hidden in a drawer we hadn't even touched. Now I understand why they wouldn't give her the key. What a disappointment.

The service was good, and it's close to the Terminal. The area around it feels very deserted, though.

The rooms are fine, with hot water and Wi-Fi, and there's a garage with an electric gate. It's small, with room for a maximum of 6 cars, so ask about availability. Breakfast isn't included in the price, so check on that too. It's near the end and food market, and the market across the street brings a lot of noise early in the morning and at dawn. There was also a smell that seemed to come from being so close to the market.
