The greenery here was beautiful, and the staff were extremely helpful. They even sent a van to pick us up and take us to the airport, and breakfast was included for dine-in. It’s a lovely little place outside the city, and I’d recommend it, but the detergent used on the bedding caused me a horrible reaction. I had to go to a clinic for shots and medication. For a moto taxi to or from the city center, it should be no more than 8 soles. The place could use a refresh too, with new paint, sofa cushions, and windows.

There’s no mosquito net, and the service was horrible. The place seems to be aiming for a kind of paradise feel, but the people there don’t hesitate to ruin your vacation.

Calling this a resort is a stretch. It’s a small place that’s still under construction, with no buffet, an empty minibar, and no gym. Even though I rented a suite, I had to pay extra to use one of the pools. They said the coconuts were complimentary when I arrived, then charged me for them, and the room showers were dilapidated. I was more comfortable at a 2-star hotel downtown than at this pseudo-resort. I recently stayed at Bella Terra, and that’s what I’d call a real resort.
