The people running VAGO made this stay feel more like sharing a home than being guests. We ended up extending our original booking a couple of times. The house has plenty of comfortable places to hang out, and I especially loved doing yoga each day while watching the sunset. Walking in from the dusty street into all that greenery was an instant way to unwind. The kitchen is well equipped, too.

Tingo María is an authentic city with beautiful views, and this hostel is a great base for staying there. You can rent a really fun moto to get out to the waterfalls. The team is welcoming and keeps expanding and improving the place. I hope more gringos make it to Tingo María. Already looking forward to coming back!

The hosts are wonderful, and the place has a lovely, home-like feel surrounded by nature. There are tours to some beautiful rivers nearby, or you can ask for a custom jungle expedition. A great spot with great people.

Edgar helped make our stay one we'll remember for a long time. I was there with my girlfriend and my mum, and it had the warm feeling of visiting family. At night we could hear the jungle, then wake up to a magnificent sunrise. Such a beautiful place.

The hostel is lovely, a little outside the center, which means it's peaceful at night. A cheap mototaxi gets you into town easily. The people there made me feel at home and invited me along to some fun activities. Tingo Maria has lots to see and do, and though I was there for only 3 days, it felt much longer. If you're heading to Tingo Maria, this place is worth staying at. Keep that energy going, guys!
