They left the booking active after telling me they couldn't provide the room, then reported to booking.com that I was a no-show. I'd reserved through booking.com and first got a WhatsApp confirmation. Since they still had more than five rooms listed there, it seemed they could easily overbook. They said I had to cancel myself, which would have cost me a three-night no-show fee. I kept insisting the mistake was theirs and they should cancel it, but they wouldn't. Like the other one-star review says, there are plenty of Trujillo hotels at the same price where you can expect respectful, professional treatment. Avoid!

The price is fair, though I wouldn't call the early check-in charge hospitable: they ask for 50%. Breakfast could have been good, but most of it had run out and the one staff member working hard couldn't keep up with everyone. The beds are tiny, and the sheets aren't wide enough for two people.

Service was friendly, and breakfast was decent and included, making this a pretty good budget option. Parking was the issue: there is space off the street for just one car, so I ended up paying for secure parking a few blocks away. My room was also very small and noisy.

The reception staff were really helpful, and my room was clean, with hot water and a comfortable bed. It's a nice, cozy place with its own terrace. Thanks for the stay. I'd happily come back if I'm in Trujillo again, and recommend it to others. 🤍

I slept comfortably in the fairly large, okay bedroom, but the noise was a lot, from the street and from inside the hotel, including the staff. It was especially noticeable in the ground floor bedrooms. Breakfast was poor.
