This was the best stay of our whole Peru trip, an absolute 10*. The hotel is in a peaceful residential area about 1 mile from the centre of Urubamba, and everything felt thoughtfully done. The owner is such a kind, lovely person. When we checked in, he put on the brazil vs argentina copa match. My wife was still dealing with food poisoning from before we arrived, and he did everything he could to make us feel at home. He even drove me into town in his own sweet beetle so I could buy medicine, then gave us a pamphlet listing hospitals along the route we were taking the next day.
