Hotel Agustos Urubamba

The staff were pleasant, service was good, and breakfast had a nice variety. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with flowers of all kinds surrounding it. Our room was large and comfortable, though the mattresses were much too firm for us. A fire burned overnight, and its smell drifted under the door, which made it hard for me to sleep.

The restaurant is nicely furnished, with a fireplace and terrace. The hotel looks great outside and the rooms are lovely inside too. Ours had two beautiful beds, plenty of space, a luggage shelf, fridge, and desk. There was also a balcony with a table and a beautiful view, and the bathroom had a bathtub.

My family and I spent two nights at this wonderful hotel, and it was a great place to recover after a tour. The gardens and scenery were beautiful, the rooms spacious and comfortable, and both the food and service were great. Highly recommend it.

The setting is scenic and the hotel is beautifully laid out. That's where the positives end for me. The rooms are clean and decent, but standard-sized, not huge as someone claimed. There was no kettle, water, cups, coffee, or tea in the room. The restaurant was the worst part. The oil smell when you walk in is suffocating. Breakfast was the worst I've ever had: stale bread, old and stale butter, just one cut fruit, and no hot vegetarian option. Plenty of people have dietary restrictions these days, and hotels should take that into account. I'm surprised so many people give it five stars with such low standards.
