InterContinental Bora Bora Resort and Thalasso Spa by IHG

The staff were what made the stay stand out. Everyone was attentive, warm, genuinely kind, and very professional, with care and attention to detail well beyond what we expected. We felt welcome and valued throughout. Every part of the stay was handled so smoothly, and the atmosphere was wonderful. From the moment we arrived, everything felt perfect. This was easily the best hotel we've ever experienced, and it remains our personal standard for excellence. We hope we get the chance to return one day. Thank you for such an unforgettable stay.

The overwater villas were spacious, nicely furnished, and wonderfully private. My stay at the Thalasso Spa in Bora Bora was unforgettable. The complimentary minibar, welcome drink, and snack in the room were thoughtful touches. The lemon cake, if I remember right, was delicious. The staff were always smiling, kind, and genuinely helpful. There was some renovation happening, but we barely noticed it and it didn't affect our comfort. We were there for the weekend, so I'm not sure if it was the same on weekdays. I especially enjoyed the daily activities, including the fun and authentic coconut-opening show. Dinner at Corail Restaurant was a pleasant experience, very good and beautifully presented, even if it didn't quite reach the standard of a top European five-star restaurant. The dining overall wasn't the best, but hey, we're in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. It's a lovely place to rest, recharge, and enjoy Bora Bora, and I'd happily recommend this peaceful, elegant resort and hope to come back. One thing, there aren't any fish around the OWBs.

We stayed while part of the hotel was being renovated, but it didn't bother us. The place was clean and had a touch of luxury, with a crazy good view. Meals had plenty of variety. When we were relaxing on the beach, staff came around with pieces of fresh fruit. Little things like that don't cost much, but they made us smile and made the service feel special. If you like lounging on the beach and switching off, this hotel on a paradise island is perfect ♥️

The staff made our stay amazing. They're kind and helpful, and the rooms are gorgeous. The whole motu, the island the hotel sits on, is beautiful. I have tons of severe food allergies, and the waitstaff, especially the food and beverage manager, Antoine, went way out of their way to look after me. They made allergy-safe meals even when what I wanted wasn't on the menu. When I hurt my back on an excursion on the main island, the concierge Paul wrote me a handwritten note to check I was okay, then personally picked us up at the dock in a golf cart so we wouldn't have to walk back to our room. The hotel also sent us a taxi on the main island when we were out of money and needed a ride back. The spa was lovely and the pool was excellent. There's not a lot of coral to snorkel among out front by the rooms, but the lagoon was one of the best places I've ever snorkeled. We saw tons of clownfish, pufferfish, clams, and more. Our stay couldn't have been better, and I couldn't recommend it more, especially for anyone with food allergies like me.
