Villa Coco Lagoon felt like the perfect home for our first visit to Tahiti. My husband, our 17 year old son, and I loved the place, and the owners were wonderful to communicate with from beginning to end. They answered all our questions about where to go, surf, and shop. The house is filled with beautiful Polynesian art, and you can feel the good energy as soon as you walk in. It’s clearly cared for with love, and the owners’ story about its history and contents is mesmerizing if you get the chance to hear it. The home opens into a lovely outdoor, open-air space and is immaculately clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need, including boards, fins, and snorkels. Moorea looks amazing from the house, and a beautiful, easy staircase leads down to the lagoon, where you can swim, snorkel, or paddle in clear water. We saw lots of fish and other marine life, so there’s no need for a pool. The grounds are huge, and the owners live there with their adorable dogs, but during our seven days we barely saw or heard anyone. The house feels private from the owners and from both neighbors. It’s centrally located, about a 20 minute drive from the airport, with a convenience store right across the road for wine or other necessities. This is a must-visit in Tahiti, a masterpiece of interior and exterior design. The family’s artistic touches, the natural beauty of the setting, and their gracious hospitality made for an amazing vacation.

We had everything we needed in the house, including modern touches, and it felt like we were far enough from downtown, about a 20 minute drive, to get that rustic Tahiti vibe. Henry was a great host, and Flying Cloud made the stay even better. The artwork all around was incredible, and the plants on the grounds were amazing. Out back, we snorkeled in clear water among coral and lots of exotic fish, including spotted eagle rays. We had the time of our lives here and would absolutely do it again. Much love.

We stayed four nights with three adults and three kids, and loved it. Henry and Rereata are wonderful hosts, genuinely kind people who responded very quickly to a couple of requests. A truly lovely home with everything you could want. Snorkel the reef right from the property, then sit on the patio and watch the sunset.

Warm, welcoming reception, and an extraordinary view of Moorea. The lagoon and its tropical fish are right at our feet. Those timeless moments felt simply magical. We’ll definitely come back for a longer stay.
