We could watch both sunrise and sunset from the beach just outside Matira Beach Bungalow, which made the location feel like a little paradise. The house was thoughtfully arranged and had everything we needed. While Frank was away overseas, his son François and their family Labrador gave us a lovely welcome. Frank arranged transport to and from the ferry port, so arriving and leaving was easy. There was also a useful guide inside with activity ideas and practical information. People on Bora Bora seem to know Frank well, since several tour guides recognized his name when we said where we were staying. We can definitely recommend the bungalow. Thanks to Frank and his family!

We loved the bungalow. Great location, room, and service, all 5/5. Frank, Juliet, and Francoise were wonderful, helpful hosts. If we return to Bora Bora, we’ll stay here again.

We left feeling that the bungalow was what made our Bora Bora trip unforgettable. The hosts were warm and helpful, and gave us excellent recommendations. Inside, it was spotless, fully equipped, and decorated with beautiful local touches. From the deck, we had sweeping lagoon views and direct access to the water for snorkeling. We could catch both sunrise and sunset there too. It was the highlight of our trip.

The photos don’t really convey how lovely Frank’s house is. We found it more private than an overwater bungalow, with better access to the beach. Having free kayaks and bikes was fantastic, and Frank was a great host who shared all the information we needed for a fabulous holiday.

The terrace was a wonderful place to sit, with two sun loungers and a clear view of the water. The bungalow is in a peaceful spot near the southernmost tip, and Matira Beach is unbelievably beautiful. We took the kayaks out and spent the evenings under a clear, starry sky. Inside, everything was spotless and carefully arranged, with flowers set out in the rooms. The shower was fantastic, the bedroom had air conditioning, and the large windows made the space bright and airy. The garden and outdoor area were clean as well. The pictures barely show how special this place is. It’s truly one of a kind. Juliette and François were incredibly kind, caring hosts who were always ready to help.
