The name, The VIEW & Studio Deluxe, says a lot about the appeal. On a beautiful island like Bora Bora, having a good view makes a stay feel special, and this place sounds suited to a quiet, scenic break. A studio gives you some privacy and room to settle in at your own pace, with a relaxed island feel instead of the bustle of a huge resort. If you want a calm, personal place to stay while enjoying French Polynesia, it’s definitely worth considering.

The host was there when we needed him, and the apartment on the top floor has a lagoon view. It’s huge, though getting up to it means climbing 92 steps to the fifth floor, with no elevator, which is a lot with heavy suitcases. The TV doesn’t work like a regular television. You can only watch recorded programs.

We felt right at home in this superbly equipped and decorated apartment. It’s magnificent, and the name really suits it. The view is breathtaking, and there’s private outdoor parking. The steep stairs could be difficult for older guests or anyone with physical limitations, but they didn’t affect my rating. I loved the apartment. One small thing: the painting above the bed isn’t very appropriate.

The interior and terrace are lovely, and the location is beautiful. But there’s no TV access and the Wi-Fi is very weak, which is a shame.
