Ingrid made our short stop in Papeete feel easy from the start. Our flight landed at 1:30 am, and she stayed awake to welcome us and show us to the room. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and quiet, the shower was large, and the Wi-Fi worked really well. We were greeted with a nice spread of tropical fruit, and she brought us more the following day. We skipped breakfast, though what we saw other guests having looked delicious. The airport is only about five or six minutes away by taxi, which cost us around 20 NZD. It’s a handy spot for an early flight, and getting into town was straightforward too. There’s a bus stop on the main road, or you can walk to Pacific Plaza Mall in about 20 to 25 minutes. Ingrid suggested a taxi driver who was excellent. She was so friendly and welcoming, and we loved seeing the little dachshund each day. Clean, comfortable, and very convenient.

We were welcomed with fresh fruit, and the host was lovely. She even helped arrange a taxi to the airport. The room was clean and had what we needed, and there’s a neat little garden where you can sit and relax. Great location too.

We really enjoyed the place, and the dogs, Gaspar and Monday, were lovely too. Ingrid is amazing. It’s a great base for an overnight stop, though you could stay longer since the bus stop right outside goes into town or to Tea Haupoo.
