Fare Maeva

The hospitality was incredible. The women at the restaurant were so, so nice, and the food and prices were good. They'll even give you a free ride into town. I was surprised by the restaurant, and the place also has wifi and air-conditioning. Just know it's budget accommodation. My room and bathroom were clean, though there were some ants, like in many places in FP. Still, AIR CONDITIONING!!

We liked the half-board meals, which were tasty local dishes with good-sized portions. Breakfast was simple. The staff were kind, smiling, welcoming, and accommodating, and having a rental car available on site was very convenient. The guesthouse is in an ideal spot, and we enjoyed eating while looking out over the ocean. You can't swim there, but that wasn't an issue since the island has plenty of accessible beaches. Whale watching is possible in season. We highly recommend this place.

My wife and I spent three nights at Pension Fare Maeva and had a wonderful time. The staff were attentive, friendly, and ready to help with anything. We were on half board. Breakfast had toast, fruit, juice, coffee, Nesquik, plenty of jams, Nutella, and more. Dinner was incredible, delicious, and served in generous portions. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very well equipped with a refrigerator, kitchen, ceiling fan, and AC. There's a pool with a bar for a few beers, plus a beachside terrace for watching sunsets. If we come back to this wonderful island, we'd stay here again. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING, Māuruuru.

We only visited the guesthouse for dinner, so I can't comment on the accommodation itself. Our own place didn't serve meals, and the lovely manager kindly agreed to have us. My partner and I ate there two evenings in Huahine and were very happy with it. The meals were fresh, generous, and nicely presented, and the cocktails were excellent. The surroundings are beautiful, with a lovely view over part of the beach and the ocean.
