We really liked the place and had a great time in Huahine during our four nights. It's very close to the center of Fare, and bikes are available for free. Our host Smith was always helpful and even gave us a free ride to the airport. We'd come back!

The hosts are lovely, helpful and attentive, and they have detailed guidebooks in both French and English. Thanks for having us, Smithy! We found the place beautiful and clean, and the location made it easy to bike into town. Just keep in mind that the road is dirt. We rented a car for one day, from 1pm to 1pm the next day, and drove to several places; bikes were fine for the rest of our stay.

The owners were friendly and shared useful tips for our stay. The accommodation is roomy and sits in their garden, with rustic furnishings, a kitchen, a bathroom, and seating both inside and out. It could use a better clean, though, with cobwebs in the oven and on the lamps, among other places, and it seems a bit worn. The Wi-Fi was awful. It kept cutting out and didn't reach the whole property.

We had a really pleasant stay at Smith's in Huahine. The guesthouse has bikes available, and it's only a few minutes on foot from the center of Fare, so the location worked very well for us.

Bikes are provided, which is really handy. It's a small, comfortable house in a great spot, about 200m from the shops.
