Pension Poerani Nui

We only wished we’d stayed a few more days. Our five days at the Poerani Nui guesthouse were unforgettable, and we were never bored. Mika and Myriam made us feel at ease right away with their kind, down-to-earth way of treating guests. The bungalows are spacious, well equipped, and right by the water, in a beautiful, secluded spot that’s peaceful and relaxing. Mika offers special activities, including a fish barbecue in the blue lagoon and a visit to a real working pearl farm, while Myriam cooks delicious meals. We’re very happy with our choice and wholeheartedly recommend this lovely guesthouse.

My & Mi deserve a huge thank you. Myriam and Mika take care of everything here, from boat trips and fishing to the amazing food. Their motu, perched over the water, feels like their own little kingdom, full of charm. Go without hesitation. Time really does seem to stand still, and the change of scenery is complete.

The bungalows are roomy, and the setting is gorgeous, right on the beachfront. Kiki is so kind and attentive to what you need, while Mika is great at sharing Manihi's fascinating history. We highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed, though leaving this little paradise may make you feel a pang of sadness.

The MyMi's family looks after you from the moment you arrive, and the guesthouse feels like home, only better. The hosts have made an already idyllic place even more special through its simple charm. There’s lots to do, from water outings, boat trips, fishing, and jet skiing to a quiet rest in the hammock. You can also play pétanque, like you would around the legendary Baby Bonzini. There’s something here for everyone, whether you want to be amazed or simply recharge. Thanks again for the lovely memories.
