Residence Moorea Sunset Beach

The beach access and boat docks were a real plus. My room was big and comfortable, with a nice bed and couch. The kitchen had everything, including plates, pans, an oven, and a microwave, and having laundry in the unit was super handy. The only downside was that during my six-night stay, they cleaned only once, halfway through.

The room had IKEA-style furniture and not much character, but it seemed new and was clean. We could hear the ocean from our balcony, though we couldn't see the water. The hotel was perfectly located near restaurants, with a beautiful beach right in front. I'd read reviews mentioning theft, so we closed the storm shutters at night and whenever we left the room. We also kept our valuables in the room safe.

A great place for families, with an awesome location and a short walk to Moorea's best beach.

The beach bungalow had a great view, and the pull-out bed turned out to be surprisingly comfortable. There's air conditioning only in the bedroom, so we worried the living room and pull-out bed would be too hot, but nights were okay. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, pots, and similar things, but had no salt, pepper, or anything like that, so bring your own. We found the dishwasher and washer/dryer very useful. Geckos came inside but stayed well away and were super cute. We saw almost no bugs, even with doors and windows open most of the day and night. It was late November. I came down with a bad stomach bug, unrelated to the hotel, and spent a lot of time in the bungalow. The strong bedroom AC and sun lounger on the back deck made it a comfortable place to recover while watching the palm trees move in the wind. For beachfront living, this was a steal compared with Los Angeles prices. Thanks again!
