We spent a very relaxing time here, with amazing views. In the mornings and evenings, we watched black tipped sharks and sting rays feeding, and we also enjoyed kayaking. We skipped snorkeling directly out front because of the stone fish. Alix was helpful whenever we had questions.

The bay views from the bungalow were incredible, and it was so clean and comfortable that we hated leaving. We were here for our honeymoon, and it felt like the perfect romantic place. They picked us up at the ferry dock, and having a rental car included made exploring the island easy. Alix, the property manger, was friendly and helpful. We also loved when her sweet dogs came to hang out with us on the porch.

We stayed in the Cook villa, and Alix was an amazing host throughout our adventure. The free snorkel, kayak, fins, and other gear were all in great shape. Inside, the kitchen had what we needed, the AC worked great, the wifi was good enough, and having laundry was a lifesaver. The outdoor showers felt unique once we got used to them. One thing I wish I’d known: you can’t see the volcano from the shore or the Unit. To get “the shot”, you have to walk about 8-10 yards into the water and look left.

We found the Villa well equipped for a self-contained stay, with a restaurant within walking distance and a supermarket a short drive away. The location is stunning. To me, it’s the most beautiful spot on the island.

We were so sad to leave villa bougainvillea. It had all the kitchen things we needed, including pots, pans, utensils, cooking oil, and a kettle. Snorkeling right out front was great too: we saw sharks, rays, colorful fish, and beautiful coral. Just wonderful.
