Really nice place, I liked it 👌

The island outings were unforgettable, especially the tour and picnic on a motu. Raivavae itself felt like a pristine paradise, well away from mass tourism. We stayed in a clean, comfortable bungalow overlooking the turquoise lagoon, and Linda and her family treated us like friends from the start. Her home cooking was a real pleasure, with fresh fish and generous, tasty local dishes. Such a warm, genuine stay. Thanks for those magical moments, we'll be back!

Raivavae is a Pacific gem that needs to be protected, and Linda made my time there even better. The motu with its pool and the coral garden are well worth seeing. The meals were delicious, the excursions enjoyable, and Linda and John were warm, attentive hosts throughout. My bungalow faced the sea and sunset, was spotless and well cared for, and the Wi-Fi worked very well, despite the recent complaints I'd read. I had no trouble with the bicycles either, they worked perfectly. Activities do cost extra, but that's their work and livelihood, so I think that's normal unless you've paid for an all-inclusive stay. I really don't understand the negative comments. Nothing to complain about from me, and I'd return to Linda's if I can. See you soon 🐟🧡

The island's beauty softened the blow a bit, but the costs here were a real problem for me. Everything seemed to come with an extra charge, even basic bicycles, and I've never seen that at another guesthouse in Polynesia. The prices were exorbitant, even compared with Bora Bora. Renting a car was 12,000 francs (about €100) per day, and a day at the motu pool cost 9,000 francs, though I later learned I could have paid half that. When we left, guests from the other guesthouses had shell necklaces, while we got nothing at Linda's. The smiles felt fake to me, and my wallet definitely felt the hit. Linda loves money, that's how it came across. You've been warned.
