Le Fare Bleu

A couple of really relaxing days, with such a warm welcome from Emanuelle, her mom Françoise, and Chloe the dog. Couldn't have asked for a better place.

We spent four nights at Emmanuelle's lovely home. The kitchen and shared space had everything we needed, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There are furry friends around too, though they stay outside the building. It's at the far end of the village on the Tiputa side, so you'll need the free bikes to get about. We had fun riding them.

The house is right by the beach, with a lovely sunset, and it's stocked with more than you'd need, including a great kitchen, terrace, bikes, and a canoe. Emmanuela also made sure I could catch the ferry on time when leaving the island and had a taxi booked for the airport. She even gave me a small, sweet gift from her own collection. She's a talented local jewelry maker. When I called to book, she was very friendly and sent excellent instructions. She picked me up from the ferry, showed me around, and welcomed me with a map marked with the local spots. Amazing.

Lovely B&B, with free bikes and a really helpful host. Elena's dinners were delicious every time.
