This is budget accommodation, and for that price it's OK. Everything is older and definitely not up to date, but that's what I'd expect at this price level. I'm giving four stars because communication was poor both in person and by email. I understand there's a major language barrier with English, but getting no response at all isn't OK. On the other reviews, when we stayed there were mosquito nets on every window, and our bungalow was great.

We'd had a very uncomfortable, disappointing stay at another outdated, unsanitary guesthouse, so we urgently needed somewhere else and chose this one. It gave us exactly what we needed: a warm welcome and a clean, well-kept guesthouse that matched its description. The bungalows were comfortable, clean, and free of hygiene problems, so we could relax in peace. The setting is idyllic. We especially appreciated how available and professional the hosts were, given the circumstances of our arrival. The price-quality ratio is reasonable for the services offered. After many stays in French Polynesia, we can confidently recommend this guesthouse. A sure bet.

The setting is idyllic, and the guesthouse is just steps from the dive center, though the rooms are quite simple. Moetu, who handles maintenance and service, made our stay even nicer. The half-board dinner is well worth having.

We had a fantastic stay. Justine and her family are lovely, and so is the staff. The guesthouse is right on the waterfront.
