The night view is always beautiful. I left some things at reception and was able to have them picked up safely. I also forgot my charger, and they kept it secure until someone collected it.

The staff at breakfast and dinner are passionate, and that’s the only thing going for this hotel. The gym is the most demotivating space I’ve ever seen, and the Wi-Fi is non-existent. When you call for IT help, nobody shows up. If you’re here on business and need to work, don’t stay. There are connectivity problems endlessly.

We were a large group staying at the Crown Hotel in Port Moresby in August, and it was a great experience. The hotel had a warm atmosphere and worked well for a group our size. Staff were wonderful, always helpful, and made us feel welcome the whole time.

The view was great, and the hotel atrium had artistic touches. The food was quite lacking, though, and the rooms needed more attention to cleaning.

They had no room available for our booking, so we were left sitting in the lobby. Staff apologized and said they should have held a room, but offered no alternative, solution, or help. Terrible service. Don’t bother.
