The resort itself is nice, but getting there means tackling three miles of rough, dangerous road. If they paved it, the place would be great. Don't take a small car, bring a 4x4, especially when it's wet. You could get stuck, or you might make it through.

We had a really relaxing stay at Surya Beaxh Resort Aborlan Palawan. The staff were attentive and accommodating, and our spacious room was very clean with a lovely beach view. My husband and I would definitely recommend it to our friends 😊

The beach is beautiful and the crew are friendly, and the food is delicious. But I booked Surya for a good night's sleep and was still awake at 3 am. The room setup was poor, the pillows smelled unpleasant, and there wasn't a comforter. I wouldn't recommend the A house for more than three people since there's no extra bed. There is an attic, but it only fits two.

The sunrise at the second beach is astonishing, and you get to have the beach to yourself for a while. The staff are cheerful and very helpful, and you can choose your breakfast. The aircon rooms are fine, but the fan room is poorly ventilated. Bring insect repellent and reapply every 3 hours. It's a great spot for an intimate family gathering, as long as you understand that you're going for the beach resort, not the rooms.
