RedDoorz near Pasay Rotonda

I should've paid more for a better hotel. This feels like a cheap bedspacer turned into a hotel, so stay away. The bed and pillows were okay, at least enough to sleep, and the bathroom was acceptable for a bedspacer rather than a hotel. The shower worked, but the heater could barely keep up. The room smelled of naphthalene, and there were tiny cockroaches in the cabinets. In the hall, it looked like tenants lived in the building, with windows and screen doors giving a glimpse of metro life. There was no elevator, though staff helped carry my luggage upstairs. The reception was inside a dim garage that looked like a roadside mechanic shop, with cockroaches on the way in. Its couple of couches were okay, but the room wasn't air-conditioned; at least it was better lit than outside. They asked for a 500-peso security deposit at check-in. The hotel is reached by a narrow road past a public basketball court, and the location didn't feel suitable for a hotel. A TV was provided, but it couldn't pick up Wi-Fi well enough to play YouTube smoothly. Phones got a better signal, but the connection still dropped now and then; it may depend on the room you're assigned.

The staff didn't give us the internet password when we checked in, and the Smart TV couldn't connect, so watching anything wasn't possible. There was no phone in the room, which meant going downstairs to ask and made things more inconvenient. The air conditioner remote didn't work, the third-floor room's floor drain was clogged, and there were cockroaches. The place also has no elevator, so you have to climb the stairs all the way up. Poor location, room, and service. I'll never return.

The room was filthy and awful, with dirt and mould everywhere. The toilet had no seat or lid, and the Wi-Fi barely worked. It looked nothing like the advertised pictures. The location was in a bad area, though I didn't explore it. Avoid this place.

The room is tiny, musty, and unpleasant, with broken cabinets, mold in the sink, and soap that smells awful. The air conditioner barely cools the room, and even the information desk area is hot. Downstairs, people hang around, so going out to eat felt scary because I couldn't know what might happen. My aunt thought the reviews were for this place, but she'd read about a different Red Doors on Edsa. I'd suggest that one instead. I can't give zero stars, though that's what I'd choose. I'm still here and already want to go home. Worst hotel stay I've had. I don't recommend it. Go at your own risk.
