For the price, this was great value. I stayed two nights and would’ve stayed longer if I didn’t have other plans. Nick and his wife were so kind, and she cooked really well. I had special meal requests and she did her best to accommodate them. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was quiet. They can arrange trips too. I went on the hundred islands tour and was very happy with it. If you’re not expecting a 5-star resort, I highly recommend Treasure Isle guesthouse. I had two amazing days there and would go back. Thanks for everything!

I’ve stayed there twice and had no problems. Nick explains the available trips and prices in detail, and his wife makes incredible packed lunches. It’s a great choice for budget travellers who want to get the most out of their visit. Try to get the tree house and have a bonfire at night. The price is more than fair.

I enjoyed my stay, as long as you’re fine with a very basic place and aren’t picky. I stayed in a solo cubo, with rates starting at 225 pesos. They offer free pickup and drop-off at the bus station. The bath and toilet need renovating.

For very low-cost lodging, it may do, but expect neglected surroundings and package offers that could feel uncomfortable. I’d have preferred to pay 500 for a nicely kept, romantic campsite. I paid 193 pesos (4$) through Agoda for a simple cottage for one, with a mosquito net that had lots of holes, a fan, two sockets, a mat, thin blanket, and pillow. The place looked like a kids’ fun park on Treasure Island after three years of closure and use by drifters. It has potential, but it’s being neglected. I’d have paid a bit more for nicer surroundings. Personally, I found the owner unsympathetic and couldn’t trust him. He pushed hard to sell me packages, which I didn’t buy. Though it looks like a campsite, you’re strictly forbidden from cooking or bringing your own food and drinks. If you’re desperate for cheap accommodation, it’s an option, but be prepared for the condition of the place and the package pitches.

Treasure Isle Guest House is now called Alona's Traditional Filipino Home Transient House. The owner is very accommodating, and the house can fit nearly 20 people, so it works for large families or groups of friends. It has three toilets and bathrooms, a kitchen, a sala or receiving area, Wi-Fi, and a television. Cleanliness gets four stars. The driveway is narrow, so take care with your car. It’s a nice place in a quiet neighborhood, around 2km from the port for Hundred Islands. ❤❤❤
