Cabagnow Seaside Resort

The rooms are really nice, and it’s a quiet place very close to a beautiful beach. No one was there when we went walking, which was amazing. The food was edible, but just okay, nothing special, and the kitchen needs work. The menu has nice dishes, they just weren’t prepared very well. Staff were friendly and somewhat attentive. We may come back.

Riza was a perfect host, and her team were so welcoming and friendly. Cabagnow Seaside is a fabulous first stop for our trip, right near the most beautiful, tranquil part of Anda beach. Our room was airy, with high ceilings, plenty of space, and good aircon. There’s a lovely garden and a pool that’s great for an afternoon dip. We arranged a scooter through the hotel, and the food and drinks were great for a night in!

We had a peaceful seaside escape at Cabagnow Seaside Resort. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the welcoming, attentive staff made everything easy and enjoyable.

The resort and its pool are beautiful, and the beach nearby is a real plus. But the room was missing a hair dryer, TV, and shampoo, which felt odd for this price range, especially the lack of a TV. The WiFi was strange too, shutting off between 12 and 4, and some apps and sites were blocked and wouldn’t work. The room itself was good and had a fridge and cooker. There were broken sunbeds by the pool. Staff were friendly but not proactive, and I expected more service from a resort. We had much better service at a cheap hotel in Loboc, for example. The food was also very expensive and not accurately listed on booking.com. A coffee at 2.6 euro and a pancake at 4.8 euro cost about as much as in Europe. Two days before, we’d had dinner and drinks for 215 pesos 😅. This time we paid 25 euro for one lunch and one breakfast. It’s a five-minute walk to JC grill, which has good, cheaper food, and a 15-minute walk to a store with lots of things. You can see it on youtube: DutchTravelOtters 🦦
