I’m back on another business trip, and the service is still better than good. DM Residente has treated me well every time since 1999, so it remains my go-to hotel.

The bed was comfortable. For the price, it’s perfectly adequate for a night or two, as long as you’re not expecting anything fancy.

Just a note that the room and bathroom could use updating. Otherwise it’s more or less what I expected, and should be okay if you’re not too demanding.

The room had a good-sized bathroom, and the place was decent for the price and easy to get around from. But I’d asked for a non-smoking room and the one we got smelled strongly of cigarettes. I really can’t stand that smell. They should have cleared the air for new guests. I asked them to spray air freshener while we were out, but I could still smell smoke when we came back. There were also loud noises from outside that kept distracting us. The food was okay, though.

Please be aware that when you book a room for two or more people, the included breakfast covers just one person in the room.
