The staff were so kind and accommodating, and even the massage therapist fit us in late at night after a long day out. Globe and Smart both had good signal during our stay, which can be hard to find in some nearby beach areas. We also ended up liking their shirts more than expected, the designs are unique. We stayed May 2-6 at Happy Island and chose it for its proximity to places we wanted to visit. Maribina Falls is less than five minutes away, and Twin Rock Beach Resort and other tourist spots are nearby. The spacious place worked especially well for families, with our own dining area, a balcony, and a lovely ocean view. Mornings were relaxing, and the whole place felt peaceful and safe. It was well worth the price and made our trip better. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Catanduanes.

The staff were friendly, awesome, and accommodating, and laundry is available too. It’s 3 km from Virac port and other commercial places, but you can take a tricycle. The inn is cozy and faces the beach. The room is on the small side, but fine for sleeping and resting. My one complaint was the towels, which were polyester and didn't absorb water well.

The room was clean, cozy, and well kept, with everything organized and comfortable for relaxing after exploring the island. The amenities were thoughtfully provided too. Staff were approachable and attentive whenever we needed help, and their hospitality made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We had a fantastic stay at Happy Island Inn in Catanduanes and would gladly return. Highly recommended.

Renting a scooter was very practical for us, since we could go wherever we wanted whenever we wanted. The one thing I’d like to see changed before our next stay is the deposit payment. It can only be made through G-cash or a banking app, and that didn't work for us. Foreigners mostly don't have G-cash, so another option such as credit cards or Western Union would help. We had a very happy three-night stay this july 25. The room was clean and pleasant, with a sea view, waterheater, a good bed, clean shower, and big tv. Jeycel at the front desk was helpful and accommodating, always with a friendly smile. We had a wonderful stay and think we'll return to Happy Island Inn on our next trip to Catanduanes. Thanks to Jeycel and the boss there.

They welcomed us warmly, and the place was clean and comfortable. It was a good way to get away from downtown noise. We got an affordable scooter and they weren't too strict about timing. We'll definitely come again!
