Natalia Hotel

There are lots of shops, bars, and restaurants nearby, and the front door opens right onto the street. Fields Ave is only a few minutes away, with SM mall about a ten-minute walk. In Angeles City, this price and location don't leave many options for anything really good, so this place lands pretty squarely in the middle by most measures. The rooms are spacious, with big comfortable beds and air conditioners that work. Staff are average, they get the job done but don't go out of their way. The hotel feels dated, dark, and dreary, and the lobby decorations are odd. Still, there's something different and cool about it, like hotels from the eighties.

Some rooms have no windows, so make sure to ask when booking. If you can, get a room at the back on the 6th or 7th floor, ideally with a balcony. Lower floors can pick up cigarette smoke from outside and noise from the club next door. It's an old, dark hotel with minimal service, but acceptable for the price. The rooms are spacious, and the location is excellent, less than a block from Walking Street.

My room stayed quiet despite the hotel being on the Main Street. The deluxe room has a bar, and the location is excellent, close to Walking Street, restaurants, and 7-11. The hotel itself is very old, but I had a good stay.

This hotel draws people in with low rates, then charges for anything broken in the rooms. If you're impaired, they may add frivolous charges, apparently hoping you won't check the bill. Sneaky.
