Prism Hotel

Good budget option for families, with great amenities, food, and service. The downside is that the family room has only one toilet.

My flight was delayed, so I tried to find the nearest hotel to the airport. This one still took 10 km to reach, so it wasn't close. The rooms were okay, but offered less than basic necessities apart from a toothbrush. It's a dead zone for cell service, and the Wi-Fi kept dropping. There's not much going on nearby, and it's far from everything. They provide soap, a toothbrush, and tea, but no shampoo, apparently because you don't need it. No free coffee either. There were lots of plates and cutlery, though, in case you want to reheat food in the sunshine, since there's no microwave.

A nice option for a short visit, near a residential area.

We booked a king studio for two adults and our 11-year-old, but got a queen room instead. The receptionist said the confirmation they received was for a queen, which I doubt, since that bed can't reasonably fit all three of us. The room reeked of Baygon, so we opened every window to air it out. They'd sprayed because of cockroaches, and we killed one each day. I have video and photos. I also ordered two cappuccinos but got just one; when I asked about the other, they brought brewed coffee instead. We won't return, and I can't recommend the place.
