Ninong's Hotel

The room seemed to have been renovated from an older hotel, but it was clean and comfortable, and the staff were generally accommodating and good. The food corkage rule was disappointing, though. We explained that we’d already ordered food for the adults and the children wanted Jollibee instead. We asked if the kids’ meals could be exempted, but the manager and chef still charged corkage. A little flexibility for the children would have been appreciated.

The food was great, the parking area is great if you come by car, and the staff are very nice.

The employees were friendly and accommodating, and I had no issue with them. The room and hallway were another story. They smelled of animal pee, and the room also smelled like flood water. It was humid enough that the blanket felt almost wet. We asked to move, but were told there were no other rooms available beyond the ones on that ground floor, which probably smelled like dog pee too. I’d attended a wedding that ended at 9pm and needed a room because I have poor vision and didn’t want to drive late. I found ninong's hotel on Google Maps and booked online right away because the name seemed familiar. After arriving and finding the smell, we tried to get a refund. They told us to request it online since we’d booked there, but there was no refund or cancellation button. We contacted their Facebook page and were told payment upon reservation was non-refundable, with refunds and cancellations allowed five days before the reservation. Since our booking wasn’t made in advance, we couldn’t get the money back. We were exhausted and moved to another hotel, but the owner’s policy felt greedy and was a shame. If you think I’m making this up, go book there and smell it for yourself.

I got a good night's rest, so great job. My room included an unlimited breakfast buffet and access to the pool, and the service was at par. The standard queen room was spacious, with a big bathroom, though the design felt older. The plaza and other establishments are about 100-200 meters away, an easy walk.
