Score Birds Hotel

We booked and paid in advance through booking.com because the listing said the hotel was pet friendly, which was the main reason we chose it. When we arrived, we were told pets weren’t allowed, turned away, and had to find somewhere else at the last minute. We were tired and stressed, and asked Score Birds for a refund so we could put the money toward other accommodation. They wouldn’t issue one. Why advertise as pet friendly and only tell guests otherwise at check-in? It felt like a scam. We’d been looking forward to a relaxing vacation, but the experience left us frustrated and ruined the trip. The administration handled it poorly and unprofessionally. If you need a pet-friendly hotel, don’t book with Score Birds.

There’s a bikini event at the pool on the third Sunday each month, and hotel guests can make a free reservation. I’ll be back. The hotel is just 3 minutes from the walking street, and the room was clean, though some furniture looked very worn. It includes a safe, WiFi, Minibar, AC, Water heater, and endless free drinking water. Construction noise started at 7am, even though the disco closes at 4am. Also, the shower water kept switching from ice cold to hot without any adjustment.

The room was very clean when we arrived and the bed was really comfortable, but the unreliable Wi-Fi ruined it for me. The signal kept disappearing, so I couldn’t chat or make calls. I ended up just lying in bed or going for a swim. It was really frustrating.

We didn’t book a room because only smoking rooms were available, but we had dinner there. There’s a good variety on the menu, and the staff were good.
