Casa Alegria Bed And Breakfast Antipolo by Cocotel

The room was poorly maintained: some lights didn't work, and there was no internet, despite the listing promising it. We expected a quiet, relaxing getaway but ended up frustrated and anxious. The restaurant had closed without any advance notice, and the pool was filthy and unusable. Although they advertised a 24-hour front desk, no staff were available when we needed help. The actual conditions were far from what we saw advertised, and this wasn't the service or experience we paid for.

Cafe Lupe is the one thing that might bring me back. Its Taco Fries and Fried Chicken are superb, really good, but I'd skip the hotel. The rooms are on the third floor, so they're not suitable for elderly guests or people with disabilities. My single room was tiny, had no fridge or water percolator, and only a basic TV with channels. The old air conditioner cooled it enough, and luckily it was clean, but it would be rough for anyone claustrophobic. The small pool is exposed to diners at Cafe Lupe through a looking glass, which makes swimming embarrassing. There's parking for only a few cars. The hotel spans multiple levels, but the view is poor, just community houses below. That's it.

The Wi-Fi is terrible, the sink is clogged, and the bathroom heater doesn't work.

The complimentary Filipino breakfast was okay, and the staff were decent and answered our questions. But for the price of this bed and breakfast, our stay was far too expensive. Our room was close to the highway, and the noise carried through the night and morning, so my partner and I couldn't sleep well. We asked to move, but were told every room was taken. In the end, we gave up our one-night reservation because it was that bad. At a lower price, I could understand the location, but at this rate I would not recommend staying here unless you have an event at cafe lupe or no other option.
