Getting around after work wasn't hard, and transportation was easy to access from the hotel. I also liked how spacious the conference rooms were, and the WiFi stayed reliable even when over 100 people were connected. The buffet breakfast had both Filipino and Western food, with amazing pastries, and the staff seemed to anticipate what we needed without being asked. My solo room had a condo style setup with a stove and refrigerator for cooking. It was a fantastic three day, two night stay. Someone else arranged the trip, so I hadn't checked the amenities and missed the pool because I didn't bring swimwear.

The smooth communication with the front desk made it easy for me to arrange a surprise for my mom from overseas, and I felt at ease. We celebrated her 50th birthday at Citadines Bacolod City, and the staff helped make the occasion special. They sent up a lovely cake with a birthday banner on the TV. From the warm welcome by the doorman to the attentive front desk and courteous, helpful bellman, everyone treated us with care. Housekeeping kept everything spotless and comfortable. My mom felt celebrated, and we're grateful for the experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🎂✨

My friends and I were shocked and disappointed by the hotel's security. Key cards seemed to be handed out to just anyone, and the receptionists especially need immediate retraining on security procedures. When staff made mistakes, they were terrible at fixing them and seemed more interested in protecting corporate interests than guest safety. This was probably the worst Ascott property we've experienced. I'd stay somewhere else.

For work or for relaxing after a long day, the rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, and the facilities were well cared for. Staff were professional, accommodating, and gave consistently good service throughout my stay. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, so getting there can take longer at busy times. Even so, it's a good option for business travelers visiting Bacolod.
