East View Hotel

The location worked well, with major fast-food places nearby and Megaworld Upper East within walking distance. I stayed for a month and got a very reasonable rate, though breakfast wasn't included. My room was large and looked out over Circumferential Road. It had two beds, a TV with GMA Black Box, and fairly good wifi. The hot shower never worked, even after staff came to check it. Still, it's a budget-friendly hotel.

The location is the one good thing, right on the main road and near everything. The rooms were ugly and overpriced, with no water heater and a broken aircon control. Wifi wasn't usable in the room, the small elevator was dirty, and the function rooms were very dusty. The food was bad and much too oily.

I had a pleasant five-day stay, and the buffet breakfast was included. The hotel feels a little dated and needs repairs: my room's door jamb had damage that looked like someone may have tried to force entry with unauthorized tools. Staff and management made an effort to accommodate guests. At three breakfasts, much of the food from the kitchen was cold, especially the meat. The eggs were always hot, and I mentioned the issue to the servers.

Everything was complete, including wifi, and the water had a heating system. The room was very large and clean for such an affordable price, with comfortable, neatly made beds. The bathroom was spacious and nice. I'd definitely recommend the OYO to friends.
