The rooms were nice once we made it up the stairs, though we nearly missed the place at check-in because from outside it looked like some random garage. Our two-person stay cost $28 on Expedia. The area was quiet at night, considering the other places nearby, and the staff changed our one bed to two when we arrived. The air conditioning worked well after it got started. The toilet flushed, but wouldn’t refill, so we had to pour water from a bucket into the cistern. Nobody was there early in the morning when we wanted to extend, but checkout was later in the day anyway. A pleasant enough stay for our time in El Nido, given the island circumstances.

We looked at several places before choosing this one, and the others were more expensive despite having no air conditioning or being nowhere near as clean. Here, the room was exceptionally clean and the AC was icy cold. The woman at the front desk was lovely, the Wi-Fi worked, and it was very quiet at night. I’d say this is the best value stay for two travelers in El Nido.
